Deer Park is a narrow strip of central Toronto located between Avenue Road and Yonge Street, Chaplin Crescent to the north and the railway tracks to the south, centred around St. Clair Avenue. It was named by the Heath family who owned a 40-acre property with a herd of deer in its woodland.
Yonge and St. Clair has it all. Classy shops and restaurants, subway transportation, library, and a variety of housing styles, from large single family homes, to semi's and townhouses, to condominiums and rental apartments. With Forest Hill to the west and Rosedale to the east, it is the logical destination for couples who wish to downsize from their big family homes to the ever-increasing number of condos in the area.
